Oprah
Winfrey born in 1954. She spent her first years on her grandmother’s farm in
Kosciusko, Mississippi because her parents separated and left her. Her
grandmother taught her to read, so at an age 2,5 years old she can read and
write. After that she was sent to live with her mother at an age 6 years old in
insecure society. At 12 years old she lived with her father peacefully. When
she returned back to her mother home at age 9, family friends sexually abused
her because her mother was working all the time and didn’t give her any care.
Her father gave her a good push in the education so she got a scholarship to
the University. She worked as news anchor at local radio station, then also as
news anchor but on TV as the first American black woman worked in news. Her
life switched to better when she got a job in Chicago as anchor on A.M. Chicago
talk show program that was extremely successful in the ratings and then the
name of the program changed to be Oprah Winfrey Talk Show that led people to
good life. Oprah also be an actor in many movies the best one was The Color
Purple. She published a lot of books talks and discus main issues which give
people a good life and push them to read more. The club ensured her as the most
powerful book marketer in the U.S. She promotes many philanthropic ventures she
supports.
